How To Use the NCAAF Tool Suite: A Complete Guide

What is the NCAAF Tool Suite?

The NCAAF Tool Suite is our college football board, with two tabs:

College football has no projections or game logs upstream, so this suite is market-based: fair value comes from the books themselves. Team names are shown in full, since there are around 130 FBS programs and abbreviations collide.

Most of the slate kicks off on Saturday. Games more than a day away refresh every hour or two; inside 24 hours they refresh every 15 minutes.

Tab 1: Value Finder

The Value Finder lists every college football player prop we track, with each book's price side by side, our fair value, the EV % at the best price and a recommended stake (Recc. U). Sort by Recc. U to see the strongest bets first, and filter any column from its header.

The essentials, explained in full in How to Use the Value Finders:

• Best Odds / Best Book — the best price on the board, with a one-tap betslip link where the book supports it.
• Fair Odds — our fair value (see FV Mode below).
• EV % — how much better the best price is than fair value.
• Recc. U — the recommended stake in units. Set your Unit $ to see dollars.
• Book columns — every book's price. Hover a price for its sparkline (how it has moved).
• 📈 Movement and 💧 Liquidity — line movement and how much you can bet at the exchanges. See Line Movement and Liquidity.
• Preset filters narrow the board to common views (e.g. high confidence).

Main Lines Tab (Game Lines)

The 🎯 Main Lines tab is the Main Lines Value Finder, for game lines: moneyline, spread and total for every college football game, plus every alternate spread and total. It works exactly like the Player Prop Value Finder (same columns, toolbar, filters, book columns, boosts, Recc. U, sparklines, line movement, betslip links and Parlay HQ), just with games instead of players. Quick filters, tuned for game lines: 💎 High Confidence (Recc. U ≥ 0.15 and 10+ books, a higher bar than props because main lines are quoted by far more books), 💰 Value Long Shots (+200 or longer, Recc. U ≥ 0.05, 5+ books; a +EV game line at +400 is rare, so this is often empty) and 🔥 Steaming +EV (still +EV after shortening 1+ point in the last 24 hours; game-line prices move less than props, so half a point is an ordinary day). 🧹 Clear resets every filter.

Reading a row. The Bet column reads like a betslip line: Georgia (moneyline), Georgia -7.5 (spread), Over 52.5 (total). Market says which kind of bet it is and Line holds the number, so you can sort and filter by it. Lines are full game, settled the way the books settle them.

Main lines vs alternates. Alternates are simply more rows. The Market filter lists Moneyline, Spread, Total, Alt Spread, Alt Total, all ticked by default. Want main lines only? Untick Alt Spread and Alt Total.

Fair value on game lines. A line needs at least 3 sharp-weighted books before we show a fair value or an edge, and exchanges never count toward those 3. With fewer, you still see every book's price, with no fair value and no edge, rather than a guess. Far-out alternate lines are often priced by only one or two books, so expect more blanks there. The FV Mode button works here too, including Market Average.

Settings are separate. Book columns, custom weights and saved filters on Main Lines are kept separately from the Value Finder, so setting up one never changes the other.

FV Mode: What "Fair Value" Means

The ⚖️ FV Mode button sets the fair value that EV and Recc. U are measured against. There is no projection model for this sport, so there is no Model option; everything else is here:

• Market FV (default, recommended). Every book is de-vigged, then weighted by sharpness, with Pinnacle as the anchor.
• Market Average. The plain average of every book's price on that exact line, exchanges included, with the books' margin left in (no de-vig). Only realistic prices go in: glitch prices our price checks flag, prices far off the rest of the market, and any book you exclude are all left out. A line also needs at least 3 independent sportsbooks (exchanges don't count toward the 3, and sister books count once); with fewer, Market Average shows "—" rather than a number. Because the margin stays in, its fair odds come out shorter than a de-vigged fair value, so it shows more "edges" than Market FV, especially on one-sided props. It is a reference view, not a recommendation: the edge column reads vs Avg % (best price against the average) rather than EV %, Recc. U shows "—" (no stakes), and nothing in it is tracked, graded or posted. The Parlay Optimizer keeps using Market FV while it is selected. For EV and staking, switch back to Market FV.
• My FV. Your own book weights (set them with 🎚️ My Weights).
• Single book. Any one book's de-vigged price as the benchmark, handy if you want to see which books beat the one you trust.

The "fee" Tag on Exchange Prices

Kalshi and ProphetX charge fees (Kalshi when you buy in, ProphetX on winnings), so their posted price isn't what you actually get. On every Value Finder board, best book, EV and Recc. U use the after-fee price. The odds cell still shows the posted price (what you'll see in the exchange's own app) with a small fee tag. Hover it, or tap it on mobile, to see the price after fees. Novig charges no fee on pre-game bets, so its prices carry no tag.
